An External Drive Spins Down, Goes to Sleep, Standby Mode

spin wd I have a 4 TB WD Elements desktop external drive. I think this drive is set to pose downspin down after a period of non-use, correct? If so, is it possible to turn off that capability?. I am using 2 REDs 8TB of size in my desktop computer which runs 247. Windows 10 does not spin down the drives when set it to so in the energy plan. Basically i want to save
